BBRC Vets Social Tennis held their Christmas tournament and luncheon Friday December 15th.
The round robin morning mixed doubles tournament was won by Peter Bosworth, closely followed by Paula Carruthers. Robin Clerk, Liz Cordova, Ann Ward, and Tila Hoffman rounded out the top 6.
Both newcomers and old-timers enjoyed sweets and savouries and holiday cheer in the BBRC club rooms. Thanks to Marcia Clayton, Rene Charsley, Sue Atkins, and our ever helpful club manager Mariska Van Deventer for making it all happen so smoothly.
The Vets will keep up Friday social tennis through the holiday season. 9 a.m.-11:30. Guests are welcome to play for just $6.00.
