Update on our Tennis Juniors

The pre-Christmas season has drawn to a close. I would like to say a massive thank you to all the players, managers and parents for their support this season. Hope you had some good times on the courts and enjoyed the competition.

Special congratulations must go to the following teams:

Boys Prem 1 – winners of their division – well done to Marcus Nevin and Stirling Bright (Reserve Elliot Nevin) – all your hard work training paid off.

Girls 15u C – were placed 2nd their grade – well done to the team: Yasmina Samy, Hannah Clausen, Keller Ren, Zoe Hayes, Charlotte Davey, (Reserve Hedi Foldi).

Girls Prem 1 – Browns Bay 8 won 2nd – congratulations to Isabella Pejcic and Jenna Van Ginkel (Reserve Natalie Pejcic)

Browns Bay 9 finished in joint 3rd place – well done Jessica Wong and Savannah Baker (Reserve Kaye Barraclough)

I am pleased to announce that Kim Murdoch and Brian Van Ginkel have kindly offered to take on the role of junior convenor for our club. They will be your point of contact should you have any questions related to the juniors. Kim can be contacted on [email protected] and Brian at [email protected]. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank them both for taking on this role and we welcome them to the tennis committee.

Do you want to play interclub in the post-Xmas competition, which starts on 7 February 2018? If you are not already in a team from the pre-Xmas competition and would like to play, contact Kim on [email protected] by 22 December latest. If you have any mates who are interested in playing interclub, please also let Kim know. Note – interclub players, reserves and stand-ins must be members of BBRC.
