Our new BBRC Hub is now live!

We are very excited to annouce that with the generous support of Pub Charity, we have an amazing new “news portal” for the Club, provided by Cabu!  The BBRC Hub will have our Club newsletters, Tennis news, Squash news, event calendars, event updates and more.

While you will still automatically receive the Club newsletter each time it is published, if you want to “follow” specific news categories, you will need to subscribe manually (this is to ensure that you only receive news that is relevant to you).  You can select news categories from the menu bar above (including the drop down menu on this site  (Eg. Tennis Coaching).  Click the “follow” button, enter in your email address, and confirm.   From then on, every time news is published in that news category you will receive an email alert and a link to click on to read that news post.

It is also very easy to use on mobile phones and devices, and there is even a new “button” you can add to your Android or Apple device, making it a one-click process to access the Hub directly on your phone or tablet.  Click the button below for quick instructions on how to add this.

You will also notice a new look to the emails we will be sending out.  Have a look around this new site and we would love to get your feedback.

Ball Machine

Please note that the Ball machine is back at the club and ready for action. Members can hire the ball machine for $15.00 per hour.

Office and Bar closed over the Festive season

The office and bar will be closed during the festive season from the 23rd of December 2017 until the 15th of January 2018.

Interclub

Our interclub has come to an end for the year with senior interclub finishing this week. Thanks to all of our team captains who led their teams throughout the year and well done to the teams that won pennants.

Club nights

The final general club night will be on Thursday 21st Dec and will resume from Thursday 18th Jan.
The final junior club night will be Friday 15th Dec and will resume on Friday 2nd Feb.

JETS interclub

Our strength in JETS (junior) interclub continues with our Buccaneers team winning the 4th term competition, and Sam Kelly winning the gradates league with Beau Aspinall as runner up.

FINAL FRIDAY SOCIAL NIGHT

The final social night before Christmas will be held on Friday 22nd December. This will also be the night where the racquet is given away by Wesley for anyone who has attended 3 or more Friday coaching sessions…make sure you come along.

There are many players who have asked if we can carry on coaching on Friday nights. We would love to see this happen next term too so please keep an eye out on our new communication portal and Facebook for further details coming soon.

Thanks to all those who have supported the Friday social night this term it’s been a huge success. Thanks also to the Hibiscus and Bays Local Council for providing us with a grant to make this happen it’s been excellent seeing everyone at the club on Fridays having coaching and most of all…..having fun!!
